Eglinton Crosstown LRT (Line 5)

A 25-station light rail program delivered to Metrolinx under a 30-year public-private partnership. I lead commissioning delivery and readiness reporting across the facilities and systems scopes — the asset and test register, the live status reporting, compliance evidence, and the assurance behind Revenue Service Demonstration — with a five-person team. My scope has since extended into signalling oversight, covering control table testing, principle tester rules and CBTC train control across mainline and yard, alongside verification automation for that testing. Line 5 entered phased revenue service in February 2026 and the assets have since transitioned into maintenance.

The defining requirement was continuity: operating theatres and life-critical medical systems cannot tolerate an interruption, so the work centred on redundant UPS and standby generation, transfer arrangements, and verification that the redundancy behaved as designed rather than only existing on the single line.
